My Work Most of my work revolves around landscapes, portraits, and picture realism (painting created to look like a photo).
Some work on my site is for sale. Just look at the captions to see if they say sold or not (NFS- means NOT FOR SALE). I also do commissions (If you have an idea for a painting you'd like to be created, I'll try my best to make it happen). |
About the Artist
A work of art is a world in itself
reflecting senses and emotions of the artist's world. -Hans Hofmann My name is Emily. I grew up on a farm near a small town in North West Iowa. I graduated from MMC High School knowing that I wanted to pursue an art degree so I chose to attend the University of South Dakota. I graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts (Painting). I lived in Vermillion for 8 years before I met my husband Matt and moved out to a ranch near Midland South Dakota. I now help out at the ranch and work fulltime as an Artist for my business "Emily Letsche-Bork Art". ....................................................................... Thanks for taking the time to visit my site! Stop by again. There are always new paintings being added every week! Contact Emily.Letsche@gmail.com |

What's Painting?:
1. Check out my painting of the week! Starting in 2014: (There will hopefully be more than one, but my goal is to create one painting a week...kind of like how some people take photos of what they eat or writing a new poem everyday).
2. Check out my blog page! Give me words/ideas :)
3. Art Show!!! I'm participating in the "Wall Art Guild Art Show" in Wall, SD. April 12th 8am-5pm (MT) and 13th 8am-3pm (MT). Located in the Cowboy Art Room at Wall Drug. I'll have 4 of my paintings there. So if you are in the area feel free to stop by and see mine and a few other local artists works. All work is for sale.
